In July 2015, Nightingale had the opportunity to take part in Bread & Butter, a tradeshow for selected brands in all aspects of modern urban lifestyle, as one of the promising start-ups. We were set on making a memorable entrance and soon came up with the concept of the Belgian Brand Brigade.
The idea of the Belgian Brand Brigade was to provide Belgian start-ups with a stage to be internationally launched. Nightingale reached out to both established and new contacts, resulting in a fascinating pool of denim, menswear, women’s apparel, accessories and much more.
Bringing stories and concepts to life is what we do best, so a traditional fair stand was never part of the plan. Our booth consisted of an oldschool fire truck, wooden furniture and fire brigade related props, submerging visitors in a true Belgian Brand Brigade experience.
Detox Denim by Atelier Noterman was the eyecatcher in our fire truck: thanks to a revolutionary organic substitute, the production of these new men’s jeans requires 80 % less water, 80 % less energy and 80 % less chemicals than the traditional process.
