Fiskeskur Takes Fish Cuisine Back to Basics

The new food concept will be the first fish restaurant in t' Eilandje.

This winter, Nikolaj Kovdal – co-founder of Fiskebar, Østerbar, Gå Nord and Bar Noord – will introduce a new restaurant concept with Sen Kulanthaivelu. Located at the Kattendijkdok-Oostkaai, Fiskeskur will transform the old customs building into the first fish restaurant on 't Eilandje. 

Fiskeskur, which translates The menu will be inspired by the day's catch and local harvestand brings the kitchen back to basics by relying on open fire cooking. Good news always comes in pairs; during the launch of Fiskeskur, Fiskebar will also celebrate its 12th anniversary. The restaurant and its menu were completely reinvented for the occasion.
