Wednesday the 30th of November brand new food concept Gå Nord opened the doors of its exclusive pop-up in the Little Brewers Winter Garden. With this tasteful appetizer, managers Nikolaj Kovdal and Sven Wille want to announce the upcoming opening of their permanent restaurant in the North of Antwerp. Have you ever heard of ponzu, seroendeng or chistorra? Learn all about these culinary experiments in a unique Eastern-Scandinavian setting.
Restaurant Gå Nord - that’s Danish for ‘go to the North’ - opens its doors on the 17th of January in the North of Antwerp. Until then, you can visit the Gå Nord pop-up in the Little Brewers Winter Garden for an impressive teaser of the concept. This way, you can get to know the wabi-sabi philosophy in premiere. The Eastern philosophy and the accompanying aesthetics inspired Kovdal and Wille for the realization of Gå Nord. Their Dutch chef Timothy Tynes translated this idea into dishes with pure tastes and local bio-products. Danish bartender Jonas Skovhus will surprise you with his innovative cocktail and mocktail recipes.
