Kauf Dicht Glücklich Store Opening

"After the opening of our Amsterdam store, we're playing with the idea of opening one in Antwerp."

"It's always been our dream to open a store in Amsterdam. Our meeting room in Berlin is even called Amsterdam," explains Andrea Dahmen, one of the two founders of retailer Kauf Dich Glücklich. It took them a rapid expansion across Germany and Austria, counting a total of 20 stores and two cafés. 22 locations later, the German concept store opened their first store in the Benelux - location Amsterdam.

In 2001, Kauf Dich Glücklich opened their first cafe, where Andrea Dahmen and Christoph Munier sold their vintage furniture. From a hobby, things evolved into multibrand concept business that took Germany by storm. Currently, 400 people work on a daily vision where visitors can shop everything they need in their daily lives, from furniture and fashion to cosmetics.

For the Amsterdam store, Nightingale was responsibe for helping the team open with a bang. Besides a progressive communication strategy and execution rollout, we handled all press inquiries, event coordination and were on the field to navigate the opening. Fans of the brand will now find the store on the Raadhuisstraat 40 in Amsterdam.
