Nightingale Listening Club

Amsterdam-based creative workspace and showroom brings consumer and press together for temporary listening experience.


On March 21st, experimental marketing agency Nightingale opened a new, conceptual location in Amsterdam: the Nightingale Listening Club. This new multifunctional location on the Gerard Doustraat will serve as our first showroom in the Dutch region, where brands like &Tradition, C.P. Company, Parkland, Herschel Supply Co., Technogym, IVC Flooring, Warre Records and Bax Music will be introduced to press & influencers - as well as the public.


For the past half-decade, Nightingale has steadily increased its activity in the Dutch market. With projects like the ESPRIT x Opening Ceremony launch, the C.P. Company x ETQ exhibition and the launch of the Nokia 8, the experimental agency has consistently demonstrated how a hybrid agency can easily reshape the traditional landscape.

Both concept, interior design, art direction and retail strategy were created by Nightingale to demonstrate their 360 degrees perspective on the ever changing consumer market, aiming to target both B2B and B2C audiences in the Netherlands region. 

More than anything, the unique community-inspired concept will serve as a place where audiophiles, like-minded creatives, and collaborators can start a conversation, grab a drink and relax. 

The new Nightingale Amsterdam location will open from March 22st to May 25th, located on Gerard Doustraat 76 in Amsterdam.




Interior Concept by Nightingale
The Nightingale Listening Club concept will bring a temporary experience to the Netherlands, inspired by the Asian roots of listening bars which originated in Japan. Think Soulwax meets Wabi-Sabi.
Lifestyle Partnerships
Nightingale collaborated with several partners to create the multifaceted listening experience. The listening wall, for instance, was created in collaboration with partner IVC. High fidelity musical equipment was provided by Bax Music. Audiophiles will be able to find a curation of vinyl records by Warre Records on display. Those in need to escape the city noise can sit down for a zen experience and read or buy a book by Mendo.
Concept-driven Communications
Beyond a new platform and experience for consumers and press, Nightingale will also implement this creative concept in their day-to-day operations as a progressive marketing & communications agency. Think press releases of Nightingale brands transformed into podcasts, or perhaps a collaboration between brands from different sectors.
