Planting trees remotely from within your home, that’s the concept Treedom stands for. The Italian brand, active globally, makes it possible for individuals and companies to do their part for the planet, buying different kinds of trees across the world and thus creating oxygen, benefits for farmers and truly original gifts. At the same time, Treedom's clients can track the trees: with GPS coordinates you're able to locate your tree and follow its growth. Nightingale was asked to put the spotlight on Treedom's concept and message within Benelux press and influencers.

MERRY, HAPPY, LOVE

Christmas is a time to stand still and do good, for our loved ones and for the world. So at the end of the year, we encouraged our peers to give a tree to their loved ones and at the same time, give back to the globe.

We feel the best resolutions are the ones everyone benefit from and the best gift to your loved ones, is a gift that’s also great for others. So this was our approach when it came to New Year’s and Valentine’s. What present is better than giving a tree to your loved ones – and to the world?

SPREADING THE MESSAGE

In stimulating gifting, we got in touch with a handpicked target list of sustainable influencers in the Netherlands as well as in Belgium and Luxembourg. In the Netherlands, we approached a mainly sustainable bloggers, whereas in Belgium, we focused more on Instagram influencers, for them to explain why and how it’s such a great idea to plant a tree for your loved ones – and the world.

As for the media approach, Nightingale created and distributed several dedicated press releases for Treedom resulting in coverage in Belgian titles Marie-Claire, ELLE, Feeling/Gael, KW Weekend, Flair, Goed Gevoel and HLN/Nina. In the Netherlands, we secured exposure in ELLE, Linda, Kek Mama, Dutchcowboys.nl, Travelvalley.nl, Enfait.nl and Holistik.nl, among others.
